In Canada sea lion dragged the girl into the water (video)
In the canadian city of Richmond tourists witnessed the shocking incident. In the port, the sea lion grabbed the little girl and dragged into the water.
One of the witnesses was sitting next to the aviary in Richmond and by chance captured on video when a sea lion popped his head out of the water and grabbed the girl. He said that the animal attracted a lot of attention, and the girl's family approached the edge of the enclosure.
"Her family started to feed the animal, sea lion and began asking for more,' said the man. In the video you can hear people laughing and whistling sea lion and holding hands over the water. At some point, a sea lion jumps inches from the face of the girl. Looks like a friendly move, and the girl is happy. This triumph turns into a cry of horror a few seconds when a sea lion jumps up again, grabs the girl and drags her into the water.
The man who apparently is a relative of the girls, jumped into the water after her, later passers-by pulled them out of the water. "After the incident, the family quickly left the enclosure with a sea lion. "They were probably very shocked and just wanted as quickly as possible to get away from a sea lion".
Bob Baziuk, Director General of the port authority, the Stevenston, said the girl and her Savior didn't suffer, and that he is trying to get more information about the incident.
