Jane Lynch reportedly got married
The actress announced she was engaged to her partner Dr. Lara Embry in April, and said they were planning to tie the knot this year. It has now been reported they wed at the Blue Heron Restaurant in Massachusetts in an intimate ceremony in front of around 20 guests. The pair reportedly said their vows on Monday, which was Memorial Day, a public holiday, in America.
"It was just a very nice, small wedding," a source at the establishment told RadarOnline. "They had both the wedding and reception here."
Jane opted for black trousers and a pink silk blouse, while Lara wore a black and white cocktail dress.
After the ceremony, guests feasted on duck, sea bass and vanilla cake.
Jane shot to fame playing irate teacher Sue Sylvester in hit US television show Glee. She recently joked she was planning her wedding in character as Sue gets so angry people always obey her orders.
"I can be aggressive like her. One of the things Sue Sylvester is - she`s a warrior," Jane explained. "She`s always looking for a fight, and I go through stuff like that.
"With the wedding plans and even when I got to my hotel here in New York, I was looking for everything to be wrong and I was like, `Oh my God, I`m doing my Sue Sylvester.` "
