The Patriarchate of Constantinople dissolve the Western European Exarchate of Russian parishes, said the portal Orthodoxie. Com citing sources.
The decision made at the meeting of the Synod of the Church of Constantinople, held in Istanbul from 27 to 29 November. It cancels the Patriarchal Tomos of 1999, according to which the Western European Exarchate obliged to submit to Constantinople, but to act according to its own Charter, and also to keep Russian liturgical order.
