Jonah Hill laughs off nude scene
Jonah Hill stripped off in his latest film so the audience would feel like they got their money`s worth.
The 26-year-old actor stars opposite Russell Brand in new comedy Get Him to the Greek. Jonah plays an ambitious young record label employee who is given 48 hours to get notorious rocker Aldous Snow, played by Brand, from London to the Greek theatre in Los Angeles for a concert.
The movie sees Jonah filma scene completely nude. He was extremely nervous about stripping off in front of the camera, but did it because he knew it would make people laugh.
"If people are goingto pay their hard-earned money to go and see a movie that I`m in, I want to make sure they enjoy it," Jonah said in an interview with Irish film website movies.ie. "Maybe showing my a*s isn`t the best way to get them to enjoy it, but hopefully it makes them laugh."
Jonah is proud of the film, and thinks his fans will like it too. He is glad he decided to go nude, because he never wants to let fear affect his acting.
"Being nude, it`s obviously not just like a normal day at work, but when you make a movie like this, I never want to think I was scared to do something or let fear drive my decisions," he explained.
"I want to make movies that I`m going to love, and the audience is going to love. I never want to look back and think there was more I could have done to make the audience laugh, but I didn`t because I was too scared to do it."
