Russian Tu-160 carried out planned flight over the waters of the Baltic sea
Raketnoe two strategic Tu-160 aerospace defence forces carried out planned flights over neutral waters of the Baltic sea, informs the Ministry of defense of Russia.
The flight lasted about eight hours. At separate stages of the route Russian planes were accompanied by fighters of the air forces of Finland, Denmark, Poland, Sweden.
It is noted that the pilots of distant aircraft make regular flights over the waters of the Arctic, North Atlantic, Black sea and Baltic sea, the Pacific ocean.
All flights of VCS are carried out "in strict accordance with international rules of using air space," emphasized in the Ministry of defence.
