Michael Douglas is "focused on his recovery"
The `Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps` star - who has two children with wife Catherine Zeta Jones, Dylan, 10, and Carys, seven, as well as 31-year-old Cameron from his previous marriage - recently completed a course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment for throat cancer but his spokesperson has dismissed claims he has begun preparing for the worst possible outcome.
His publicist and long-time friend Allen Burry told People magazine: "Michael is totally focused on his recovery. It`s been very difficult but his doctors are very pleased with how he responded to treatment. They think he`s doing really well. He`s doing as well as can be expected.
"Michael hasn`t changed his will recently, and he isn`t contemplating changing it."
However, the Oscar-winning actor will be allowing his career to take a back seat in the future.
A friend of the 66-year-old star recently revealed: "This is a man in the middle of a gigantic fight, and he wants to conserve his energy and resources. If he beats this, he intends to focus on spending time with his family. He looks like he has aged 10 years in weeks."
