Russian president meets with Tatarstan mayor
President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin organized a meeting with Kazan mayor Kamil Iskhakov.
"During the celebration of 1000th anniversary of Kazan we made an agreement to meet, to tell results of interaction between municipalities and republic government", - reminded Putin. The chief pointed out that he discussed the topic with the Tatarstan president Mintimer Shaimiev.
Iskhakov informed Putin about realization of the Law of local government. "Introduction of 131st law works properly", - said Iskhakov.
Elections were held in Kazan, at present time local government forms municipalities.
