Volga citizens despise rich Russians
Equal amount of Russians treat rich people positively and negatively but majority of respondents (41%) don`t have any special feelings towards them.
According to results of poll conducted by Levada-center, 15% of Russians treat the rich with interest, 12% - with respect, and 2% - even with sympathy.
Rich people arouse respect among businessman, unemployed, house wives and men younger 40 years, with high education and relatively high income (more than 12000 of rubles per each member of family). These respondents live in North-Western or Far East federal regions, in Moscow and other large cities and they voted for SPS at elections to State Duma.
The rich arouse interest among military and law machinery workers, students, pupils and men younger 40 years with high or secondary education and income of 7000 per person. They are also citizens of Far East region, Moscow and other large cities and voted for "Yabloko" or SPS.
28% of respondents treat the rich negatively, among them 14% - with irritation, 8% - with hatred, 6% - with disdain. Among respondents who answered this way are pensioners and persons elder than 55 years, education less than secondary and income less than 7000 rubles per person.
Citizens of Southern federal region, villagers and one, who voted for CPRF or "Rodina", feel particular irritation to the rich.
Volga region citizens, people, who live in small towns (10-100 thousands of people), and supporters of CPRF and "Yabloko" treat the rich with particular disdain.
Rich directors arouse hatred among citizens of Southern region, village settlements and average towns, and the one, who voted for CPRF or "Rodina".
