Doctors and Candidates of Science to earn more money in Russia
Moscow, November 22 - Rise in wages of Doctors and Candidates of Science will increase several times in November 2006.
As the chief of Russian Education Grigory Balihin informed at present time rise in wages of the Candidate of Science is 900 rubles per month, and the Doctor of Science - 1,5 thousand rubles.
"We planned to get money from educational state budget aimed to increase the bonus of teachers", - emphasized Balihin.
From November 2006 it is planned to pay extra 3thousand rubles to Candidates of Science and 7 thousand rubles to Doctors of Science. It means, the salary of Doctors will come up to 15-20thousand rubles.
"This measure will help to attract a lot of scientists to work in institutes of higher education, and it will promote integration of education and science", - said Balihin.
