Lion and penguins kidnapped from Gaza Zoo
Strangers in masks entered by force Zoo at Gaza sector this night, closed watchman in local canteen and kidnapped lion and 2 penguins.
Animals were not found, and Zoo announced $1000 award for information about animals` location. To estimate the amount of award it should be mentioned that average wage in sector Gaza is $2.5 per day.
Zoo director doctor Saad Ash-Shua informed that criminals are armed with Kalashnikov submachine guns. They threw special hunting net at lion, so king of animals lost opportunity to resist. The same maneuver was used in relation to penguins. Strangers wanted to steal another lion but it was more angry and nimble and first attempt to catch the animal was unsuccessful. All operation lasted for half an hour.
Zoo at sector Gaza opened recently, at the beginning of November.
