Criminal case opened on active workers of the Yabloko party youth brunch
Moscow Office of Public Prosecutor opened criminal case on article "forcible assertion of right" on active workers of the Yabloko party youth brunch, who publicly tore off posters of Moscow Duma Speaker Vladimir Platonov and the United Russia party at the metro station "University", announced the leader of Yabloko party youth brunch Ilia Yashin, referring to Moscow department of domestic affairs. According to Yashin, the case was opened on the basis of Platonov?s claim. Yabloko asserts that Platonov and United Russia posters posted up illegally. "When we wanted to place our agitational material on metro station, we received the list of places allowed for this purpose. The list contained transit vehicles, special desks, but you can?t place posters in the entrance hall, where put their posters United Russia ", told Yashin. According to press-release available on the Yablo ko web-site, Office of Public Prosecutor doesn?t claim the Yabloko active workers on tearing off the posters. The accusation connected with the fact that agitational material were destroyed, and thus caused "damage to the candidate Platonov property". The posters were torn off on November 22. The Yabloko web-site informes, that the Yabloko active workers and the journalists covering the event were questioned in the Office of Public Prosecutor on November 30.
