Syria and Russia signed 2 contracts in gas field
2 large Russian-Syrian agreements in gas field, at the cost of $370 millions, were signed in Damask.
Russian side was represented by president of public corporation Stroitransgas Victor Lorenz, Syrian - by minister of oil and mineral resources of Syria Ibragim Haddad.
According to first contract, Stroitransgas will participate in Syrian gas pipeline project realization. Second contract provides construction by the same company of gas-transferring plant near Palmir town, where large gas deposits are located - Abu Ribah, Kamkam. Al-Deid. According to project, output of plant will amount to 2.2 milliards cubic meters of refined gas per year, 23 thousands tons of liquefied propane-butane per year and 233 thousands tons of condensate per year.
Term of both projects` realization is 22 months from start of work.
