Lev Durov recovers
Famous actor and producer of Theater on Malaya Bronnaya Lev Durov feels better after he was hospitalized on suspicion of stroke this Wednesday.
As colleagues of Durov inform, he should be discharged from hospital soon. 73-year old actor felt bad during rehearsals of premiere play "Cavalier of Roses", where he plays the leading role. During one of scene Durov lost conscious and partners hardly caught him.
Arrived "Emergency" doctors diagnosed stroke and hospitalized Lev Konstatntinovich to 6-th city hospital; he was moved to institute named after Sklifasovsky afterwards. Condition of patient doctors estimated as average. Examination revealed that there was no stroke but "heart attack". Actor lies in ordinary ward of vascular surgery department. Yesterday doctors allowed honorable patient to talk over telephone and meet with relatives. By words of daughter Ekaterina, he feels much better.
Lev Durov is the major actor of Russian theatre and cinematography. He played more than 200 roles, including such famous films as "Good morning", "I walk along Moscow", "Red guelder-rose", "17 moments of spring", "Kazan orphanage", "Why human needs wings" and others. In 1990 he was awarded title of National artist of the USSR. Since 1967 he works in Moscow dramatic theatre on Malaya Bronnaya, since 2003 - the leading producer of the theatre.
