Leonid Tyagachev reelected for post of ROC President
Leonid Tyagachev has been reelected for the post of the Russian Olympic Committee President and he will be leading it for the following four years.
This is a result of the voting finished about half an hour ago. Tyagachev beat two other candidates Irina Rodnina and Valentin Balakhnichev, the head of Russian Track and Field Athletics Federation. 220 Olympic meeting participants voted for Tyagachev, while Irina Rodnina gained 39 votes, Balakhnichev gained 18 votes.
