Every 5-th Russian loves Maria Sharapova
First place among sportsmen in rating of national love belongs to the brightest tennis-player of the present Maria Sharapova - every 5-th citizen of Russia doesn`t stay indifferent to her talent. The poll also revealed that popularity of tennis player directly depends on the type of the settlement.
So, among residents of villages only 13% of respondents valued talent and beauty of Sharapova, meanwhile in towns-millionaires this percentage has reached 28. There are more fans of Sharapova among men (23%) than among women (16%).
The second place in rating takes gymnast Alina Kabaeva - 18% of Russians expressed admiration, respect and love to the sportswoman.
