No Russian citizens among dead and injured in Katovitsa accident
This was informed by consul general of Russia in Krakow Leonid Rodionov.
"We telephoned all hospitals. By data of emergency center and Polish police, there are no Russian citizens among victims of the tragedy", - informed Rodionov. Along with that he has noticed that rescue operation in Katovitsa continues, rescuers search for dead under obstructions.
The roof of the exhibition center in Katovitsa collapsed on Saturday at 17:15 by local time (19:15 by Moscow). By refined data, 60 people died and 140 people got injuries. Moreover there are citizens of Germany, Czechia, Belgium and Slovakia among victims.
By tentative version, the cause of collapse became weight of snow on pavilion`s roof.
Poland goes into mourning. President of the country Lekh Kachinsky granted $320 thousands to families of the dead in Katovitsa tragedy.
