President of Moldavia tired of "Russia-phobia"
President of Moldavia Vladimir Voronin expressed the hope that "mutual understanding and friendly relationships with Russia will be restored in 2006".
This announcement was made during visit of accredited in Kishinev foreign diplomats.
"Friendship and partnership with Russia determines future of my country. I think that political class of Moldavia should treat this partnership not as long-standing tradition but as perspective way of development", - said Voronin.
By his words, "games in Russia-phobia in Moldavia have no perspective and are played by cabinet politicians, who are far from reality".
The president also announced that expects Moldavian parliament to draw up "responsible and consolidated position, which will emphasize depth of relationships with Russia and determine additional and long-termed directions of strategic partnership".
As a reminder, relationships between 2 countries became sharper last year because of conflicts around Pridnestrovian status and Russian gas supplies to Moldavia.
