Case about illegal transplantation
Prosecutor asks to sentence doctors accused of illegal organ transplantation in 20-th Moscow hospital to 3-6 years of imprisonment.
"I ask to consider actions of accused not as "preparation to murder" but as "preparation to voluntary infliction of heavy damage"", - asked prosecutor.
On Monday prosecutor asked court to punish Peter Pyatnichuk with 6 years of imprisonment. The same term of deprivation of liberty was asked for arrested Irina Lirzman. Other arrested - Bairma Shardurova and Lubov Pravdenka are - are sentenced to 5 or 3 years correspondingly.
This was second suit on this case. Last time prosecutor asked for imprisonment on term of 8-9 years.
Prosecutor said that during preparation of Anatoly Orehov to transplantation was registered arterial pressure, heart beating and other evidences of life. Prosecutor pointed out that, according to law, organ transplantation demands an official verification of death and also permission on transplantation (of a donor himself and his closest relatives) and set of other document which arrested didn`t have. "Actions of arrested can be identified as materially interested", - prosecutor thinks.
Now there is a break in process after which legal defense will hold its speech. Finally, Moscow town Court will set a date of verdict proclaiming.
