Pavel Dazuk: Russia was short of strength in semifinal against Finns
The forward of Russian hockey team Pavel Dazuk considers that his team was short of strength in semifinal of Olympic tournament against Finns. He made this announcement after the match, which ended with score of 4:0 in favour of Finns.
By his words, missing first goal to Russian gates and lack of physical strength adversely affected the result of the game. "We played with last bit of strength tonight because we did our best in game against Canada", - supposed Dazuk.
He also noted that hockey players of Russian team "sometimes forgot that hockey is a team game and demonstrated individual hockey".
Nevertheless, Pavel Dazuk expressed the hope that Russian team will be able to finish tournament on major note and will play against Czech team for third place "with jaws set".
"There is no point to spare strength", - concluded the forward.
