The European chess Union did not give Ukraine the Crimean players
MOSCOW, eleven Aug - f-Sport. The European chess Union (ECU) rejected chess Federation of Ukraine (YET) a Declaration, which called for the Primate of the Ukrainian jurisdiction over the chess players and the organizers of the Crimea, is informed on official Internet representation of the Russian chess Federation (RCF).
at the meeting of the General Assembly ECU in Tromso (Norway), which takes place these days chess Olympiad, delegates ECU, denying the Ukrainian chess Federation, took another Declaration. Its main idea is that the ECU in the complex and in the potential conflict issues will be guided by the UN documents and the instructions of the international Olympic Department.
the head of the Russian chess Federation Andrei Filatov, who participated in the meeting, believes that the ECU has received suspended the wording which corresponds to the spirit and letter of the Charter of FIDE and the Olympic Charter.
