Ilya Zimin correspondent of television channel NTV killed in Moscow
The special correspondent of the TV channel NTV Ilya Zimin was killed in Moscow. The press-secretary of the TV channel Maria Bezborodova informed about it on Sunday.
"We acknowledge that he tragically perished" she said.
According to the words of Bezborodova she doesn`t have any other information at her disposal. "Unfortunately, I can`t give any other information because we know nothing else" she said.
As the source in the law-enforcement agencies reported, the body of journalist was found in his apartment in Moscow.
" The body of Ilya Zimin - the special correspondent of television channel NTV was found on Sunday in his apartment on Academician Korolev`s street, house 4" said the collocutor.
"According to preliminary information they didn`t find any wounds on the body of the journalist" said the source.
According to his words the operational investigative group and the medical expert is working on the place of the accident.
At the same time the collocutor reminded that the journalist was assaulted earlier. The group of native of the Caucasus attacked him near his home in April 2005. Malefactors beat the journalist unmercifully, broke his leg, after that they took his handbag with money, cell-phone and disappeared.
After the assault the journalist was hospitalized.
