Russian Supreme court to examine application of Khodorkovsky
Supreme court of Russia will examine application of "YUKOS" ex-head Mikhail Khodorkovsky about recognition illegal current regulations in correctional facilities.
In particular, Khodorkovsky appeals against regulations of prisoner`s visits by lawyers. As a reminder Moscow court returned Khodorkovsky guilty in 7 articles of Russian Criminal Code in May, 2005 and sentenced to 9 years of imprisonment in colony of common regime.
After verdict appeal the term of sentence was reduced to 8 years. In October of 2005 Khodorkovsky was conveyed to place of sentence - Chita oblast.
