Russia is ready to begin full-scale development of the moon. The office reported that intensive work aimed to colonize the earth satellite will begin in late 20's-early 30-ies.
The head of Roscosmos Oleg Ostapenko said that preparation for the study of the moon has already started and the Russian authorities have every reason to believe that supplied at the moment of the tasks will be implemented in the new decade. In addition, the Commissioner stressed that the basis for the colonization of the satellite is considered as a technique that may help preload on a space object.
"At the end of the next decade we plan to complete the testing of the launch of the superheavy and begin full-scale exploration of the moon. By this time, based on the results of the study the moon's surface automatic spacecraft, will be determined more promising landing sites lunar landing and deployment of lunar bases," said Ostapenko, meeting in the Center of the astronaut training under the chairmanship of the Vice Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin.
"Realizing the Directive policy of Russia in the sphere of space activity to 2030 and beyond, we now turned to the design of the latest manned spacecraft, which will be the first components of promising manned systems together with new means of injection boosters heavy and extra-heavy classes" - Quoted Ostapenko RIA Novosti.
According to him, this system is designed to deliver cargo and crew to the moon, but in the long term - in the boundless cosmos. The main work on the study of the moon and deep space is planned to expand the scope of the new Federal space program for 2016-2025.
