Trolleybuses for the blind in Vilnius
Trolleybuses equipped with loud-speakers for the blind appeared on Vilnius streets. Special equipment informs about number and route of that trolleybus.
The equipment is attached to front doors of trolleybuses. To activate it a man should push the button of the special control panel. These control panels were given out to the blind of Lithuanian capital city.
As National radio of Lithuania informs, there are 60 trolleybuses in Vilnius. It is planned to equip all trolleybuses with loud-speakers and all buses during 2006 year.
