Biography Anatoly Zverev
1931 - 1986. Attended School of Industrial Art (1948-50). He studied in the moss memory 1905. Author's style distinguishes Zvereva expressive brushwork, combined with a masterly possession of brush and pen. His compositions are often established as instant improvisation, and in the course were the most incredible material, such as toothpaste or cigarette butts. Huge legacy Zvereva includes both figurative and abstract works. Zvereva works have been exhibited in: Museum Bochum, Bochum, Germany (1979), the Museum of Russian Contemporary Art in Exile, Jersey City, USA (1982); Soviet Cultural Foundation, Moscow (1988), State Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow (solo retrospective exhibition, 1999 ). Works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow; MOMA, New York, USA; Museum Bochum, Bochum, Germany; meeting Yuri Traysmana, United States, meeting Mr.. . Kostaki, Athens, Greece, as well as several other private and public collections.
