Lazarevic, Ivan Pavlovich

(1829-1902 gg.) - A prominent Russian obstetrician-gynecologist. In 1857, Mr.. defended his doctoral thesis on rational dimensions of the female pelvis. Since 1862. - Professor, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and childhood diseases Kharkov University. On his initiative at the department of obstetrics was established by the Institute (1869). He was an honorary member of several scientific societies in Russia and abroad. Issued the "midwifery course" in two volumes (St. Petersburg, 1892).
