Biography BRODSKY, Joseph A.
Born May 24, 1940 in Leningrad. Up to 15 years in high school, then worked, had many professions. Write poetry in his own testimony, began at age 16. In 1992 - the poet laureate of the U.S.. Joseph Brodsky died of heart disease on Jan. 28, 1996 in New York. He was buried in Venice on the cemetery of San Michele.
