Biography Oleksiy KOZLOV
Born on October 13 1935. Moscow. Education - Higher, specialty - the architect. A. Kozlov - one of the leading jazz musicians in Russia, composer, saxophonist, bendlider. Since 1957. Kozlov led his own jazz combo, took an active part in the creation of jazz clubs in Moscow ( "Youth" in 1961, "Rhythm" in 1968, "Pechora" 1969, "Arcadia" in 1994). Participant and winner of numerous national and international jazz festivals. In 1973, Mr.. Alexei Kozlov created the band "Arsenal", laid the foundations of national direction "jazz-rock". Broke from the underground to the formal stage in 1976. and began touring, Arsenal gradually gained wide popularity in our country and abroad. They recorded and released 6 LPs and 6 CD-ROM drive, not counting the publication of individual pieces of precast slabs.
