Biography Baudouin de Courtenay Ioannina Romualdovna (Baudouin de Courtenay)
Born in 1863, finished Bestuzhevskie courses in St. Petersburg. The first of the novel ( "Spadkobierka Tarnogrodu", published in Warsaw) passed unnoticed. - Attention drawn the criticism of the novella and short stories printed in various magazines and appeared in a separate publication in 1901. ( "Nowele", wyd. B. Natansona, Warszawa), especially the story "Izmael" (in Russian - "North", 1901) and the story "Uwienczony". In 1907, Mr.. published in Galicia novel Baudouin de Courtenay "Judyta" of the life of the Russian revolutionaries of 1905 - 1906 period. From 1901 to 1911. appeared in various periodical publications of her novels and short stories, including a triptych, consisting of three medieval tales: "Sluby", "Apokruf" and "Historja o pieknej Rozamundzie". Several of these stories has been translated into Russian and German. Some stories Baudouin de K. written in Russian ( "Winner", "Because of Love" - published in the Journal of Europe "," tyrant "- in the" New World ", etc.). Story "Winner" is included in the Art Department Historical Anthology ", published in Kiev in 1910. Yar. Kulzhinskim and B. Neukirch. The main feature of the works I. B. de Courtenay was interested in the psychology of exceptional souls struggling with the conditions of life and destiny, and a tendency to portray exceptional, for the most sad moments and experiences of suffering. - Wed.
