Biography Krushevsky Nikolay
(1851 - 1887). He graduated from the Philology Department of Warsaw University. He was a professor of Kazan University. The first research of its work: "Conspiracies as a kind of Russian folk poetry" ( "Proceedings of the Warsaw Imperial University, . 1876, . ? 3, . and separately), "Observations on some of the phonetic phenomena, . associated with accentuation "(Kazan, . 1879), . and the article "On the analogy and folk etymology" ( "Russian Journal of Philology", . 1879, . t, . II), with the "Additional Notes" to it (ibid.), which represents a number of new and valuable thoughts on this was still almost completely untouched the question. In 1880, Mr.. appeared his "Linguistic notes" ( "Russian Journal of Philology, t. IV), in 1881. - His master's thesis: "On the guna" ( "Russian Journal of Philology, t. V), which is particularly important general theoretical introduction, concludes a lot of brilliant observations on the methodology of phonetics. This introduction, revised and published in German. ( "Ueber die Lautabwechslung", Kazan, 1881), met with a very sympathetic assessment of the Western scholars. In 1883, Mr.. appeared doctoral dissertation Kruszewski: "Essay on the Science of Language" (Kazan, 1883). In formulating the law here and the factors of language, the author found an outstanding philosophical mind, deep and insightful glimpse of this scientist. The best part of the book are devoted to the analysis of sound and morphological structure of language. German recycling "Sketch", made by Kruszewski, was published by him in "Internationale Zeitschrift fur allgemeine Sprachforschung" Tehmera, under the title "Principien der Sprachentwickelung". Kruszewski the death of his courses were published (under the editorship of Professor VA. Mother of God): "French grammar" ( "Russian Journal of Philology, 1891, and separately sph.) And" Critical data phonetics of the Romance languages "(Studies of the Kazan University, 1894 and Dep. sph.).
