Biography BRODSKY Adolf
Born in 1851. a Jewish family. He studied at the Vienna Conservatory, then in Moscow, graduating from that, joined the quartet Gellmesbergera, and in 1868 - 70 years was also a member of the court opera orchestra and soloist of the opera orchestra. By taking then a lengthy concert tours, Brodsky arrived in 1873,. in Moscow, he studied with Laubach and taught at the Conservatory, and later toured in Paris, Vienna, London, Moscow, was a professor of violin at the Leipzig Conservatory and a member of the famous quartet, which, besides himself, entered Becker, Novachek and Klengel. Brodsky first performed abroad Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, it received universal recognition thanks to him. Since 1895. was director of the College of music in Manchester and a member of an excellent string quartet, along with Rawdon Briggs'om, Simon Speelman'om and Charles Fuchs.
