Biography GOMILIUS Louis Fyodorovich
(1845 - 1908). He graduated from the course of the St. Petersburg Conservatory, first on the piano in A. Rubinstein (1865), and then on the cello - in K. David (1868). He studied the game on the organ at the church organist Peter Paul Heinrich Calm, after whose death he was invited in 1870. in his place, taking four years later the professorship at the conservatory in the same specialty. As was the cellist in the orchestra of the Imperial Theaters (1868 - 72). He was the founder and permanent conductor (since 1871) Peter and Paul Society lovers of choral singing. As a composer, sets of piano pieces, choral and organ works he did not show the original identity. He also belong: "Choralbuch zum praktischen Gebrauch", "Uebungen und Lieder fur den Schulgebrauch".
