General of Cavalry (1838 - 1910). He graduated from the course in the Corps of Pages. He wrote on the religious, national and public morality (eg, of the duel) in the "Moscow News", "Slavic Izvestia," Russian Review ". Issued separately: "The gentry of infallibility" (Moscow, 1889), "People's politics, as the basis of order" (St. Petersburg, 1889), "Slavs and nationalism. A Vl. Solovyov "(ib., 1890). He took an active part in the "starokatolicheskom" movement, on which great hopes in the sense of the spread of Orthodoxy in the West. Kireev, wrote about this movement in the records of the Society of spiritual enlightenment, the secretary who was also a "Church public Bulletin", "Moscow Diocesan Gazette" and others.
