Biography Paul Pabst Avgustovich
(1854 - 1897) - pianist, the son and disciple of August P. Later, a short time, P. studied with Doorov and Liszt. Abroad concertato P. gave him so popular that in 1879 he was invited NG. Rubinstein teacher at the Moscow Conservatory and in 1881 received the title of professor. P. was also an outstanding teacher. Of the works we mention the piano concerto, piano trio dedicated A.G. Rubinstein, transcription of melodies from "Eugene Onegin" by Tchaikovsky, romances and small piano pieces. P. long time was in Moscow, an inspector of music in Cherniavsky Women's College. N. S.
