Peterson Rudolph Avgustovich (1897 - 21.8.1937), political commissar, divintendant. The son of an employee. Participant 1 WWI. In April. 1918 joined the Red Army in 1919 in RKP (b). In August .- Sept.. Early 1918. communication 5 th Army. In October. Early 1918. Of particular unit which carried out retaliatory operations against the rebels in the Tambov and Kozlovsky counties. In August-Sept. 1920 member of the Revolutionary Military Council (PBC), 9 th Army, Nov.. 1920 to Feb.. 1921 Member of the PBC 6-Army. Since April. 1920 commandant of the Moscow Kremlin. According to AV. Khruleva, Peterson, protecting the party, party leaders are so guarded jealously that he never spared his personal life ... Always firmly and persistently implemented the general line of the Party ". In 1936 was appointed deputy. Commander of the Kharkov Military District on the rear. 27/4/1937 arrested. Accused of belonging to the Latvian fascist organization ". Pleaded guilty to all charges against him, in t.ch. that participated in the preparation of the military-fascist conspiracy in the Kremlin and the preparation of terrorist acts. During the investigation named 16 "members" of the conspiracy, which he personally recruited. 21/8/1937 sentenced to death. Shot. In 1957, rehabilitated.
