Biography Louis Jacques Mande Daguerre (Daguerre Louis-Jacques-Mand)
(1787-1851) Born November 18, 1787 in Cormeilles near Paris (France). He began his career with service in the department of public duties, then became a theater artist and stage designer. Helped Pierre Prevost in the creation of panoramic views, in 1822 created the first diorama in a special pavilion in Paris. The inventor built the same diorama in London. Daguerre experimented for a long time, . order to facilitate the reproduction of images in his diorama, . and together with Joseph Nicephore Niepce (1765-1833), . c 1814 who worked in the same area, . developed a procedure to obtain non-vanishing image using light, . In 1833 Niepce died, and Dager for some time stopped jointly initiated the development, but in 1839 announced the invention of a new process, which he named dagerotipiey. Images acquired through exposure to sunlight, a plate coated with silver iodide, and then solidified mercury vapor and sodium hyposulfite. Daguerre died in Bry-sur-Marne 10 July 1851.
