Biography Colombian Patrick (Colum Padraic)
(1881-1972) Born December 8, 1881 in Longford, grew up in Ireland, in 1920 he lived in Dublin, worked as a clerk in a railway office. In Dublin, became friends with WB Yeats, . Augusta Gregory, . Dzh.U.Rasselom and Dzh.M.Singom and participated in the movement for national theater, . for which he wrote the play plowed soil (Broken Soil, . 1903), . Land (The Land, . 1905) and Thomas Maskeri (Thomas Muskerry, . 1910), . Colombian was one of the founders (1911) 'Irish overview' ( 'The Irish Review'). In 1914 he moved to the U.S.. Colombian were among the first created the Irish folk drama, his plays, poems and short stories are marked national color, filled with admiration for the miracle of life.
