Biography LANGE Christian Christoph Anderas
(1810-1861) Born in Berumen August 13, 1810. He studied theology, became interested in history, after the completion of training at the University of Christiania (now Oslo) became a professor at the Naval Academy in Fredriksverne. In 1845 he joined the Office of the royal archives. As a historian Lange mainly engaged in medieval studies, has contributed to the publication of Diplomacy Norway (Diplomatarium norvegicum, 1842-1860) - labor, without which it is impossible to study the early history of Norway. Wrote a history of the Norwegian churches in the Middle Ages (De norske klostres historie i middelalderen, . 1847), . historical dictionary published Norwegian (Norsk forfatter lexicon, . 1841-1856) and Norwegian manuscripts in the literature (Norsk tidsskrift for videnskab og litteratur, . 1847-1852), . Lange died in Christiania May 10, 1861.
