Biography Giovanni Lanfranco (Lanfranco Giovanni)
(1582-1647) Born in Parma in 1582, was a pupil of Agostino Carracci Bologna Master. In 1602 he left for Rome with his brother Agostino, Annibale Carracci, who was assisted in the decoration of the Palazzo Farnese. In 1610-1612 Lanfranco again traveled to Parma, here he was impressed dome songs performed by Correggio.
