Lepere, Auguste Louis (Lepere Louis Auguste)

(1849-1918)
Born November 30, 1849 in Paris. Engraved on wood illustrations for magazines 'Le Monde Image' and 'schedule', as well as for a number of publishers. Later began to make prints on your own drawings, particularly remarkable views of Paris. Lepere did much to revive the ancient technique of wood engraving, produces color woodcut, worked in etchings, as well as color and black and white lithograph.
