Ernest Thompson Seton (Seton Ernest Thompson)

Born August 14, 1860 in South Shields (County Durham, England). Received the birth name of Ernest Thompson Seton. Childhood and adolescence spent in Canada, from 1890 to 1896 he studied art in Paris, known in the United States and Canada brought him a series of stories with their own illustrations of wildlife and forest life. In 1940 released autobiography, Memories of the artist-naturalist (Trail of an Artist-Naturalist). Seton died in Santa Fe (pc. New Mexico) September 3, 1946.
