Biography Theodore S. KERN
(4.HII.1817, g. Viazma Smolensk province - 24.HII.1890, St. Petersburg) He graduated from the Naval Cadet Corps. Sailed on the ships in the Baltic and Black Seas. Member Sinop naval battle (1853). During the defense of Sevastopol (1854-55.) Commanded the frigate "Kulevchi and 4-th line of defense at the Malakhov Hill. The Courage was awarded the Order of St.. Anne 2 nd Class with Swords, SW. Vladimir 3rd Class with Swords, SW. George the 3rd degree, the golden arms and to captain 1 rank. In subsequent years, has held major positions in the Navy, including a member of the Board of Admiralty. Awarded as the Order of St.. Alexander Nevsky, the White Eagle, NE. Anna 1-st degree, SW. Stanislaus 1-st degree.
