BONDARENKO Valentin

Soviet pilot. Born February 16, 1937. After graduating in 1954 from high school in Mr.. Kharkiv, a volunteer went to the army. After graduating from the Aviation College he served in parts of the Air Forces of the USSR. In 1960, he was enrolled in the cosmonaut (1960 Group of the Air Force? 1). Trained to fly on ships such as 'East'. Tragically died March 23, 1961 in a fire in the soundproof chamber during planned training. Buried in g. Kharkov.
