Biography SLUTSK Boris Abramovich
Slutsky, Boris Abramovich (1919 - 1986), poet. Born on May 7 in the town of Slavyansk (Donbass) in the family of an employee. Studied in Kharkov. In 1937 he moved to Moscow, where he first studied jurisprudence, and then entered the Literary Institute. Gorky, who graduated in 1941. The first verses were published in the same year.
World War II changed all the plans for the future poet. Goes out to the front, leaving a long poetry. Starts war soldier, after being seriously wounded, was left at the front, becoming political director. Once again, began to publish since 1953 in various editions.
In 1957 published a book of poems - "Memory", followed by other collections: "Time" (1959), "Today and yesterday" (1961), "Work" (1964), "Modern History" (1969), "Annual arrow" (1971), "Kindness Day" (1973) and others. In 1984 comes a collection - "Timeline".
Translated Polish, German, English poetry. February 22, 1986 B. Slutsky died in Tula.
