Biography Gottlob BERGER (Berger)
Berger, Gottlob (Berger), (1895-1975), Obergruppenfiihrer MOP (General), Chief of Personnel Management of the Waffen SS, a senior RSHA (RSHA). In 1941, . dealing with the Office of Alfred Rosenberg's affairs Occupied Russia, . contributed to the publication of a textbook, . entitled "subhuman", . where the people of the Soviet Union was characterized as "the last of humanity, . spiritually located below the level of the animal ", . In August 1944 he was appointed head of military operations in Slovakia, which declared that "should build peace after the cemetery of any uprising". Berger appeared before the court of the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg on charges of extermination of Jews during the war and in April 1949 was sentenced to 25 years. Released from prison in 1951.
