Albrecht Haushofer (Haushofer)

Haushofer, Albrecht (Haushofer), (1903-1945), poet, playwright, the enemy of Nazism, the son of famous geopolitics of Karl Haushofer. Born January 7, 1903 in Munich. Since 1940 Professor of political geography at the University of Berlin. At the same time he worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Author of several dramatic works: "Stsipio" (1934) and Sylla (1938). Having received Nazism as a terrible disaster for Germans,, Haushofer joined the resistance movement. After the failure of the conspiracy of the July 1944 he, as one of the participants, was arrested and jailed Moabit. A few days before the end of the war, April 23, 1945, Haushofer was taken from prison and killed on the road.
