Saito Quiet (p. 29/06/1967, Tokyo) - classic modern Shе?jo manga, continues traditions Ikeda Rieko.
Like many Japanese girls, Saito childhood love manga and tried to draw their own. His first success she has had in ten years, when very successfully copied the picture her older sister. Since then, artistic career, Saito was determined.
Unlike many manga, Saito received an artistic education, however, by his own admission, her style emerged regardless of all, what she had been taught. Of particular influence on her work had Rieko Ikeda, Moto Hagio and Oosimy Yumiko - creators pillars Shе?jo manga.
The first professional manga site called "The Sword and Mademoiselle" [Ken to Mademoiselle], and was published in 1982 in the journal "Coronet" publishing "Shougakugan". However, the most glory outside of Japan, Saito brought participate in the creation of TV series "The young revolutionary Utena" [Shoujo Kakumei Utena] (1997). At the request of Ikuhary Kunihiko, directed the series, she joined the group of developers of the series and was responsible for creating the characters and scenarios. In parallel, the output series of screens, she published manga of the same name, which offered its own version of events.
Among the main topics of the Site - history (from medieval Italy to the near future), art (from opera to painting) and, most importantly, love, overcoming the limits of time, love, space and gender.
