Hubert de Givenchy (James Marcel Taffin) (1927) - French fashion designer, born in Beauvais, France.
Givenchy is one of the designers, setting high fashion in Paris. In his biography of Givenchy was a disciple of the famous Cristobal Balensyaga, assistant Elsa Schiaparelli. His own fashion house, he opened in 1952, and in 1988 sold his holding company Moet Hennessy-Louis Vuitton.
