From 1952 - Research Fellow in the Laboratory of Physical-Technical Institute (PTI) of. A. F. Ioffe, USSR Academy of Sciences.
In 1972 - 87 - Head of Sector, Head of Laboratory PTI. Since 1987 - Director of FTI since 1989 - also chairman of the Leningrad Scientific Center.
