Biography Kurds Valentin
1905,. Mikhailovskoe Perm Province. - 1989, Leningrad. He studied at the Perm-free art workshops (1921), in the jewelry department of Art and Practical Institute in Sverdlovsk (1922-23), in the Leningrad Vhuteine (1923-26), in GINHUKE (1926) by KS. Malevich. He lived in Leningrad. Member of USSR Union of Artists. Exhibitions since 1932. Honored Artist of the RSFSR. People's Artist of the RSFSR. Winner of State Prize of the RSFSR behalf I.E. Repin. He worked under the direction of VV. Lebedeva in the children's department of the State Publishing House. Was one of the creators of a unique style of Soviet children's books 1920-30 gg.. Strongly influenced Filonov, under the influence of which was created a series of "street dealers"
